*APPLICATION:

– Used as a pH balancer in many different cosmetics from lotions, eye gels, shampoos, shaving foams, etc.

– Another common use of TEA is to form complexes with Al ions in solution. This reaction often combines with EDTA to form stable metal ion complexes.

– TEA is also used as an organic additive. Ratio of 0.1% by weight in the clinker grinding process.

– As an ingredient in ear drops (triethanolamine polypeptide oleate)
