USES AND CHARACTERISTICS OF THE INGREDIENT:
– 4-n-butyl resorcinol is a derivative of resorcinol, known for its ability to inhibit the activity of tyrosinase enzyme and protein-1 tyrosinase, commonly used in cosmetics for its whitening properties, particularly in fading dark spots.
– Experimental evidence has demonstrated the skin whitening and dark spot fading capabilities of 4-n-butyl resorcinol. => After 8 weeks of use, a cream containing 0.1% 4-n-butyl resorcinol showed significant brightening of the skin and fading of dark spots, visible to the naked eye in study participants.
APPLICATIONS:

USAGE:
– Recommended usage level: <0.5%
– Soluble in a Water (2:1) mixture for complete dissolution before adding to the formulation
