* CHARACTERISTICS AND USES: Carbopol Ultrez 10 is a polymerized, dispersible, moderately cross-linked polyacrylic acid polymer powder, which has the following effects:

– Change the rheology of the product.

– Increase viscosity for products.

– Creates consistency, thickness, creates a glittering transparent gel, feels light on the skin.

– Increases the cohesion and stability of ingredients in lotions and creams O/W.

– Non-sticky, not heavy, high stability and interaction.

– Easy to maintain compared to many other natural polymers.

–Carbopol Ultrez 10 is also different from other polymers in that it is the first polymer that can be effectively dispersed without mixing and is able to withstand temperatures up to 60 degrees.

*APPLICATION:

Carbopol® Ultrez 10 is used in creams & lotions for skin care, hair, sunscreen, hand gels, floor cleaning…

– Rate of use:

+ Create thick gel: 0.2- 1.0%

+ Stable in emulsion O/W: 0.1-0.3%.

*USING:

Add the carbomer to the water phase of the product, stirring with a whisk or handmixer until the carbomer is completely hydrated and forms a translucent liquid gel. No need to be affected by temperature. Adjust pH > 6 with NaOH, TEA, KOH, to stabilize or create a clear gel.

*NOTE:

Stir gently to avoid foaming. Can be mixed with glycerin before adding to the water phase to avoid clumping.
