APPEARANCE:
- White, lard-like fat mass with a mild odor
CHARACTERISTICS AND USES:
- The product is used as nonionic O/W emulsifier and/or solubiliser for the product of aqueous cosmetic preparations such as sodlubilisates and tonics.
- Use to dissolve groups of incense, vitamins, essential oils, extracts… insoluble in water into the water system.
- PEG-60 when dissolved in water creates a transparent solution, pH 5.5 – 7.
- Use level: 1-5%
- Note: It needs to be gently heated until it becomes a liquid before adding it to the recipe.
APPLICATION:
- Mainly used in perfumery.
- Products that need transparency such as cleansing gel, lotion, shampoo, shower gel, body lotion, makeup remover…
