* INTRODUCTION:

– Houttuynia Cordata is known as an herb that helps to metabolize and eliminate toxins in the body. The main components of Houttuynia Cordata extract include: kaempferol (such as quercitrin and quiercetin) alkaloids (such as piperolactam, aristolactam, and splendidine), which have antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and antibacterial effects.

* CHARACTERISTICS:

– The results of ABTS free radical scavenging study show that using 1mg/ml of Houttuynia Cordata extract showed an antioxidant effect of up to ~97%.

– When using 100 µg/ml of lettuce extract in the formula, it inhibits NO (inflammatory factor) production by up to ~40%.

– Research results show that Houttuynia Cordata extract is resistant to Staphylococcus aureus (Staphyloccus aureus).
