• The palmitoyl pentapeptide (Pal-KTTKS) is a synthetic material that was designed as a topical agent to stimulate collagen production and thus provide a skin anti-wrinkle benefit. Pal-KTTKS is a collagen fragment peptide consisting of lysine, threonine and serine, attached with palmitoyl, a fatty acid to enhance oil solubility for better skin penetration.
• It is recommended that 5 to 10% of the solution is present in the final formulation in order to obtain significant anti-wrinkle activity.

APPLICATIONS:

It has been used in facial and body care and eye repair products. Incorporated in cosmetic formulations such as emulsions, serum, cream, etc., where stretch mark, wrinkles around the eyes area are desired.
