3.1. Antioxidant Activity
✔ The antioxidant activity of SpecKare® NAD was evaluated using UVA-induced human immortalized keratinocytes (HaCaT).
✔ At a concentration of 0.16%, SpecKare® NAD reduced intracellular ROS accumulation by 20.2%, demonstrating its ability to help relieve oxidative stress caused by UVA exposure and protect skin cells against environmental damage.
3.2. Soothing Effect
✔ The soothing performance of SpecKare® NAD was assessed by measuring histamine release in the RBL-2H3 mast cell line.
✔ At a concentration of 0.16%, SpecKare® NAD inhibited histamine release by 67.0%, indicating its ability to help soothe the skin and reduce inflammatory responses.
3.3. Promotion of Collagen I Synthesis
✔ The collagen-promoting effect of SpecKare® NAD was evaluated through an in vitro study.
✔ Results showed that at a concentration of 0.04%, SpecKare® NAD increased Collagen I content by 68.6% compared with the control group, demonstrating its potential to support firmer and more resilient skin.
