Vitamin A – Palmitate belongs to the group of Retinol – this is the common name for the chemical vitamin A. Vitamin A – Palmitate, after being absorbed into the skin, is converted to retinol, and finally to Retioic acid. It has the following uses:

– The ability to absorb deeply and stimulate collagen regeneration.  Retinyl Palmitate is very effective on fighting wrinkles and aging in the skin.  It inhibits collagen degradation through inhibition of collagenase, an enzyme that breaks down collagen.

– Increases epidermal proliferation.

– Whitening.

– Exfoliating the skin by shedding the stratum corneum faster.

– Unclogs pores and reduces excessive oil secretion.

– Anti-inflammatory effects for all types of acne (especially inflammatory acne) and limits scarring after acne.

– Increases suppleness by moisturizing the skin.
