*APPLICATION:

– Alpha is considered one of the most stable and effective whitening ingredients available today. Alpha Arbutin has 10 times more whitening effect than Beta Arbutin.

– Arbutin works by inhibiting the oxidation of tyrosinase enzyme and reducing the conversion of DOPA – an enzyme responsible for the production of melanin which is the main cause of skin darkening. Besides, it also evens skin tone, quickly removes brown spots accumulated for a long time on the skin, treats melasma and freckles.

– Rate of application is from 0.2 – 2% at pH 3 – 4, but the most effective is usually 1% combined with 3% kojic acid dipalmitate to enhance the desired effect.

– Products containing Alpha/Beta Arbutin give best results after using for at least 2-3 months
