*Features and uses:
Carnauba wax is extracted from the resin of the carnauba tree, which is a common palm tree in northeastern Brazil. In hot, dry climates, the Carnauba tree secretes a wax to protect its leaves. After that, this wax was separated by people and used in many different fields. Useful:
–  Create gloss and increase adhesion for lipstick.
– Create hardness for wax products, lipsticks…
– Create a consistency for soap and cream products
– Must be melted when combining into the recipe. Only suitable for hot processes.
*Application:
Carnauba wax is used in most makeup products such as mascara, lipstick, eye liner, soap, etc.
In addition, Carnauba is also used to polish cars, shoes, etc.
* Usage rate:
– Mascara 0.2-5%
– Lipstick, soap: 3-15%
